Babbling Brook

Do you have a friend that's very talkative? I apologize to both my husband and my mother-in-law for the times I seem to ramble on-and-on. I have a friend at work who babbles. He jumps from subject-to-subject without a single pause. He doesn't seem to notice if I even respond! Yesterday, I imagined myself choking him to "silence"!

  15. [mother-in-law said] A Talker or Not? I'm not a talker but a listener who is striving to become more balanced. It seems so very strange that most of my close friends just love to talk. They say talkers are social and auditory learners which means they are learning as they talk. So a listener like me, guess what? I listen and I learn by writing.
